I'm an author with my second book FOR THOSE WHO'VE FALLEN, NEW ENGLAND REMEMBERS THE CIVIL WAR coming out in December 1999. I'm also writing a biography on John Denver, which I hope to publish in 2000. If you are interested in either topic, please get in touch with me. I'd love to talk about it!

I'm 32 and was born and raised in Massachusetts. I worked for MIT Lincoln Laboratory as the Workers' Compensation Manager. Now I work at Old Sturbridge Village as Sales Manager. That means I travel everywhere. I'm going to Europe this week, as a matter of fact. My first love and passion, however is the American Civil War which I've been studying for 20 years.I belong to the Gettysburg College Civil War Institute (see links) and attribute most of what I've learned to them--and my mom, who first brought me to the battlefield when I was 13.

My John Denver Experience

How did I come to like John Denver? Well, I guess I always liked him, but not really as a fan...Then he tragically died in October 1997, but suddenly in October 1998, I was consumed with thoughts of him--out of nowhere. I've recently learned that I'm not the only one this has happened to and am beginning to believe in spirits and the like. If you have similar stories (not necessarily about John Denver), let me know. It's a topic I'd love to explore.
